Getting to the Bay of Saint-Brieuc

Where is the Bay of Saint-Brieuc located? What's the best way to get there?

Here you'll find some practical information on getting to Saint-Brieuc, in the heart of the bay of the same name.

By car

By train

With the new TGV Atlantique, Saint-Brieuc can be accessed on specific timetables – just 2 hours and 13 minutes from Paris and 2 hours and 6 minutes on Friday evenings (without stopping in Rennes)!

From Nantes - 2 hours 30   TER or TGV with a change in Rennes

From Brest - 1 hour            TER or TGN Direct

From Vannes - 2 hours 30   TER or TGV with a change in Rennes

With even more free returns on weekdays and every Saturday ('petit prix' discounted round trips with TER), free for children under 12 accompanied by a paying adult (up to 4 children free per paying adult), and special rates for young people or groups. The TER train is a simple, eco-friendly and affordable way to come for a walk in Saint-Brieuc and its surroundings.

From Vannes - 2 hours      Breizhgo Stopping at the Saint-Brieuc SNCF station

By plane

You can get here by plane to Rennes or Brest depending on your point of departure

Once you arrive at either of these two destinations, you can travel to Saint-Brieuc and the bay by TGV or TER train.

The Briochins Urban Transport network allows you to discover Saint-Brieuc and the surrounding area. The beach, museums, golf, and much more ... And yes, all accessible by bus!

The Breizhgo departmental network allows you to discover the seaside resorts of Binic-Etables and Saint-Quay-Portrieux, as well as the 'Petite Cité de Caractère©' of Quintin!

If you want to come to the Bay with your own car, there are several parking options available in The car parks of Saint-Brieuc.
