Discover a castle, a medieval chapel (outside visit only), a pond and bridle paths lined with century-old beech trees as well as box bushes; all of it nested in a 80 ha forest.
The castle has kept its 15th century dungeon and its main façade from the 16th and 17th centuries. It was restored and enlarged by Rennes-born architect Jean-Baptiste Martenot from 1899 to 1902.
The park and part of the ground floor open to the public (afternoons only) on the last week of August and during the whole month of September.
On the 3rd weekend of September, during the European heritage days, the vintage car tour of Brittany stops in the castle park.
Some nice hiking paths cross the nearby woods and follow the river Urne. Free information and brochures available at the Saint-Brieuc tourist office.
